Rain, Rain, Go Away.............

The fresh 6 to 10 is still calling for wetter than normal in the eastern Heartland and that might mean less corn/more beans despite the USDA decoupling tariff aid from specific grains/oilseeds to acreage! Mother Nature is still in charge and we'll start getting more analysis about the benefits and costs of prevent plant!

It's getting past serious as per corn acreage loss and now we'll start hearing of some wheat turning into feed if the rains continue in Texas and Oklahoma. We are at feed value in the interior and discounts might force a lot of wheat into feeding channels. It's a day by day situation!

Do not sense that there will be many interested parties pushing the market down today given the forecast for rain all weekend.

We're off on Monday in celebration of Memorial Day! We thank all who served our country!
